I've read your books for only the last three years or so, but I must say that they are among the most well-written works of fiction that I have ever encountered. Your capacity for new ideas and characters is phenomenal, and everything about horses is very true and blunt, unlike most authors who try to sugar-coat the horse world. As a competitive jumper, I own a Thoroughbred, and I appreciate someone writing from experience! I also would like to send you best wishes on your birthday, and simply say that I enjoy your works tremendously, and I hope you realize how many people get joy from your books. Thank you!

Dear Mr. Francis, You are the favorite writer of both of us, an amazing fact. Your books always have a good "scam", as well as wonderful characterization and a "chase" scene (actually, a suspensful scene). It's obvious that you do extensive research for many of your books. In addition, you are also a good writer! What a combination. Thanks for all the hours of pleasure. Have a wonderful birthday. Two fans, Judy and Larry Thomas from Michigan

Very Happy Birthday to you Mr Francis in 1999!Thank you for your books,I like them very much, and hope to have a pleasure to read many more new in future.. All except the latest I successfully collected yet in English (some with translations into my native language too)and "reread" them contstantly. So my special thanks to you for all, what your books did for improvement of my command of contemporary English,as it was done in much more nice and easy way than purposeful learning..
